Morning Tea

Cold, nervous hands

are warmed with an Osmanthus kiss,

The bloated blossoms bathe innocently

in a brew that soothes a sinner’s spirit,

settling all sorrow and senses,

so that at the end of my morning ritual

I wish my cup was bottomless.
